On January 6, the trial of the deadly attack began in Paris on the fifth anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack. Most of the suspects are dead or presumed dead.
France's 24 tv reported on january 6th that the trial was a bit like a \"ghost trial\" because most of the 24 suspects in the \"charlie weekly\" attack were already dead or presumed dead in iraq, syria.
Only five suspects are expected to appear at the trial. The remaining 19 suspects have previously fled to Iraq or Syria and are believed to have died in US-led airstrikes against ISIS.
The victims'families hope the trial will reveal the course of the attack and the network of attackers who have been able to expose radical young people to weapons and attack in france.
